SBCI batted first at Sowerby and rack up a massive 286-9, Tyson Illingworth smashing 11 fours and 8 sixes in his 135. Sowerby started well with Pat Lennon taking two early wickets and one a piece for Sultan and Craig Patrick leaving SBCI at 80-4.Wickets continued to tumble at the other side but they could not get Illingworth out. Eventually his knock came to an end but the damage had already been done. Tom Smith (32) Micheal Veitch (29) and John Greenwood (24) the only other scores to note. Sultan and Pat Lennon ending with two wickets a piece, Billy Watson three, Craig Patrick and Younas with one each.
In reply Sowerby were all out for 175 inside 34 overs. Mark Bennett going early for 10, Younas for 25 and Helliwell for 14. Barber and Lynden Baxter then gave Sowerby some hope with 32 and 29 but wickets continued to tumble. Craig Patrick fell for 5, Watson for 14, Bellenger for a duck, Lennon at the other end played nicely for 47 until being last man out with the total on 175. Illingworth claiming 4 wickets in a man of the match performance, Veitch 3 and Matty Keast 3, with the others, all meaning SBCI win by 111 runs.
