Sowerby are back on the winning streak!!

A brilliant win this week sees Sowerby back on top, Upper Hopton taking the stand in bat first saw a wicket in the first over from Harry Denham bowling a lovely straight ball, Upper Hopton struggled to gain many runs from Sowerby's attack the wide balls giving them some sort of a chance to hit out.
Marley Stoyles bowling his first maiden over along with team mate Milton Greenwood joining him with a maiden and a double wicket maiden!
Some good fielding this week showed an alround improvement,
An excellent caught and bowled from Milton Gteenwood ended a good innings for Sowerby
Sowerby's winning fight was back as they set out to win with the bat if the team were nt hitting out getting big scores like Ethan Grogan and Milton Greenwood, they were holding there end up knocking back fast bowls like Millie Carter.
Alfie Sloane and Kate Allen did well also getting a few quick singles and Luke Fletcher hitting the ball to the boundary when needed.
A confident win Under 9 s with four games left if we carry on as we are we will be well up the table at the end of the season .
